Sydney Kings star player Shaun Bruce told Kidzone what he loves about Christmas Day. 

KZ: Best Christmas memory as a child?

Shaun: Spending the day at Nana and Pop’s place with my family. 

Favourite Christmas toy you got as a child?

I remember being pretty happy with a Stretch Armstrong. It only lasted a couple of hours thanks to my two older brothers.

Favourite Christmas food?

Pavlova.

Did you have any Christmas traditions growing up?

If we behaved ourselves at church we got to open a present on Christmas Eve. 

If there was one thing you could change this Christmas, what would it be? 

That nobody feels lonely and everybody can find a way to smile and enjoy themself. If you are in a position to give, it’s such a special time of year to do that. 

Are you excited about the Christmas Day match? What does it mean to you to be helping out the Salvos?

Playing on Christmas Day is a lot of fun. Seeing the joy on all our fans’ faces and being able to share a special day with our Kings family is a great moment in the season. 

What are you asking Santa for this Christmas?

A win against the Hawks.
